This policy explains what this website collects about you, why, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do with it. We've kept it short and in plain words.

Who runs this website

This website is run by Mile High Barber Co., 3401 W 32nd Ave, Denver, CO 80211. You can email us at book@milehighbarber.example.com. Our current details are always on our Visit page.

Messages you send us

When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if you give it) and your message. It is stored on this website and emailed to us so we can reply. We keep it until we delete it.

Booking online

When you book an appointment, we collect your name, email address and phone number, and the booking itself: the service, the barber and the time. It is kept on this website so we can manage your appointment and send you confirmations.

Booking online takes a $10 deposit. That payment is handled by Stripe and paid into our own Stripe account, so your card details go to Stripe and never to this website. If we connect our Google Calendar, each booking is added to that calendar, and you may receive Google's calendar invitation.

Buying from our store

When you place an order, we collect your name, email address, phone number, shipping address (unless you pick up at the shop) and what you ordered. It is kept on this website so we can send or hand over your order. Payment is taken by Stripe into our own Stripe account, and your card details are seen only by Stripe.

Who looks after the website for us

This website is hosted for us in the United Kingdom by Averbo, who process this information on our behalf. They also deliver the website's emails and receive its error reports so they can fix faults. An error report can include your IP address and what you typed into a form at the time.

Spam protection

The contact form and the other forms on this website are checked by Google reCAPTCHA to stop spam. reCAPTCHA loads with the page, before any cookie choice, and lets Google see your IP address and information about your browser.

Maps

The map of the shop is shown by Google Maps. Google sees your IP address when the map loads and may set cookies of its own.

Cookies

The website uses a session cookie and a security cookie that every visitor needs for the website to work, for example to keep your cart and to protect the forms. It keeps no visitor statistics of its own.

If we switch on Google Analytics or advertising tags (such as Google Ads or the Meta Pixel), a banner will ask you first, and nothing is set until you accept. Your answer is remembered in your browser.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, and ask us to correct it or delete it. Just email book@milehighbarber.example.com. We do not sell anyone's personal information.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
